Music (Vocal and Instrumental)
Music is a beautiful thing that can reach out to everyone unhindered by the barriers of different languages. It has been an integral part of Indian culture for centuries.Music can elevate our senses and can sooth our stress ridden anxious minds and no matter what, there is a song for every occasion.Keeping these things in mind,our school has given importance to music in the educational life of a child.Learning music also leads students to higher thinking and a child who is skilled at music excels at problem-solving,evaluation,and analysis.

In our school we also encourage children to participate in various annual events of the school and they are exposed to various Inter-House and Inter-School music competitions.It develops self-discipline,teamwork,confidence in the children and promotes responsibility.

Dance

Dancing in any form is an enjoyable and wonderful form of exercise.It contributes immensly to the personal improvement of the child and thereby enhances all types of skills that are required for better education.Research has shown that dancing boosts a child's self-esteem and enhances confidence in him/her. It requires memorization and so helps children improve their overall memory when trying to remember steps. It improves listening skills in children, whether it is for the instructions or for the beats. It helps the body's circulatory system and improves health. Dance improves the flexibility and helps with a much better posture and improves muscle tone. It helps to relax,reducing stress and tension.

At Pawar Public School Dance is a part of curriculum.We encourage children to participate in dance events,through which they learn pure,cooperative and collaborative group endeavors.

Drama

Drama is a performing art which is dynamic, vibrant and an effective mass media to reach people. It may involve or incorporate a few or all other art forms: dance, music, painting, craft, martial art and puppetry, to name a few. Inclusion of stage, auditorium, sound and light is not a necessity. It can also be performed with or without any gadget. As, creativity is the only answer to the non availability of resources. At Pawar Public School, Chandivali, drama is a co-curricular subject and students are taught dramatics by Interactive Participatory Method. We use floor exercises to reinforce the theory of dramatics. To make learning more exciting and enjoyable we use different theatre exercises and theatre games which teach them functioning in group with respect, alertness, trust and faith. Having imbibed they would become better human beings. The nuances of dramatics enhance the students skill at speaking and expressing the emotions, at the same time realizing the importance of listening to silence. Dramatics influences the students to think out of the canvas, empowering them to script skits and perform.
